Of All

by Ryan Nardi

What can All deny them?
They are reaching into a black silk bag,
removing a mirrored ball,
holding it, both,
hands intertwined.
In the reflection, they see
the third of a thousand years
fast approaching.

They replace the sphere and laugh
a full-bellied laugh.
They always knew,
and continue to prove,
that the harmony of their strings
compose the chord
that sings of All--
and even more.
