I miss you in a way

That no metaphor

Could appropriately describe.

Missing your touch

The warmth of your smile

Your sweet passionate kiss.

I miss you for a time

That never forgets

Through all of my long days,

But especially in lonely nights.

Something just isn't right

Whe we are not together.

I am loathe to say

How much I truly miss you.

But I would rather tell you

Than not to be able to

Ever speak such again.

Suffice it to say

That I miss you
