The toilet is running away

I thought I had heard her say.

It's moving slowly by the hour,

Don't even ask about the shower.

"We don't speak of that nonsense,"

She said. "Not on THIS side of the fence!"

Those unmentionables she said

Do not come out of my head.

I remain quite quiet

My mind was in a riot.

I just waited for the time,

When the flush would be sublime.
