fishing life

by Mary Frances Spencer

best intentions knot
time pulls in
reel year by year
hands tangle
shaky boat fear

fishing life
luring bright
hanging heavy
i cast another

hope the line
Is not too
tight

Author's Note: I think we all need to take a deep breath and ease up, loosen the "line" a bit. MFS

Nice write lady. I used to fish a lot in this small lake in North GA. I would sit in boat on that lake by myself for hours and sometimes catch nothing. It didn't matter. I was so relaxed. Again nice write.
