keep going

by Matthew Sharp

careless creator
can i sit in your club house
and will and will and will
we ever be
eye2eye inside diameter
i conspire with confidence
to walk with my zero feet
you thought i would never find
abandoned mind left thoughtless
automation leaks from the exit wound
i hurt no more
no fear and utter determination
conditioned and trained
a billion years can blink its morse code at me
laughing in appreciation
but giving away the 'i' in me
burning material ashes
3d4d5d6d7d8d9d
skip a phase and
count the end
here i go.
goodbye/hello

It's really the only thing, isn't it, to keep going? Even if that means facing life without a body, we just keep going. Then, maybe, life with a body again, and so on and so on, until a universal whim stops it. I loved, "a billion years can blink its morse code at me".

The endless karmic cycle we keep circling...are we learning anything as we go around? MFS
