and Jesus tore down
the temples and threw
out the money lenders

and now out of dismay
the pillars of earth
shall be taken away

for mans selfishness
shall be his undoing
the storms and floods
shall ravish what man
thought he could control

paying no attention
to life's details
he praises only
the bottom line

and it returns to him
what is deserved
