Reading several books
At one time
Sometimes switching
During the same day,
And never content
To read just one book
From beginning to end
Before starting another,
Biblio promiscuous
Oh, the shame.

Author's Note: This penchant for reading more than one book at a time may also be due to a low threshold of biblio boredom? Could the literate world be divided into those that read books consecutively and those that don't?
