Here's the proposal:
You'll pretend
that I love you
or even like you

and I'll pretend the same.

You'll make believe
that you enjoy my company and conversation
and I'll make myself believe the same.

Together
we'll put on
a very short running play
with an extremely limited story line

And afterward
we'll do our best
not to give each other
bad reviews.
