I hurt
to see you
slouching in
pale skin,
barbaric piercings,
dirty, stringy
shoe-polished hair

sickly symbols
of the blood,
the sins
of this
generation
--visual revulsion
of excess

--perhaps too
(even worse)
the deviant
caustic, irony:
you know
I know
you know.
