Washers & Dryers

by Joe Cramer

So no more folding clothes you see,

No more Laundromats for me.

It's such a simple pleasure

That I can easily measure.

I've got a washer and dryer

And my spirits could not be higher.

I know that I ought

Not to get caught

Washing my underwear at midnight,

It's just that the novelty seems so right.

So I set them both in the room,

Is it just far too soon

To wash another load of sheets again?

See, we all win!

Author's Note: ... a good friend "donated" a used washer and dryer... I have been utilizing the services of a Laundromat for the last seven years... it wasn't that bad, I would just go very early on a Sunday morning when the rest of the world was sleeping or at church, now I can just stroll into my very own Laundry room... I think that I just might wash the curtains next!?!

I love this. Its just how I felt when I got my very own little laundry room. Washing underwear at midnight is quite a luxury.
