craving you

by Emily Davidson

the way i miss
the smell of your skin
is subtle, but poignant
and it dances through
my silent subconscious

i let out a sigh

i am not yet wringing my hands;
just twirling my hair
eagerly,
biting my lip
impatiently

there are no words
to illustrate
the way it feels to have your hands
trace the bones of my back
or your soft mouth
warm the skin of my neck
so i wont bother with description

besides, it is simple:
tonight
i am craving you

I wouldn't call it bad myself. Not your best, from what I've read of yours, but certainly not bad.
