The other side of love

Leaves me anxious

A paler shade of blue

That I know nothing of.

The absolute truth to discern

I love too much, loving mostly

The idea, the conception.

I simply have not learned.

Once I thought love was a child

That would join the union forever

Sprinkling children all over,

Now I just sit back and smile.

The other side of love leaves me lost

Alone and lonely so many years,

Insincere, anxious, depressed.

This is the life I live, this is my cost.
