Such an irony

Controlled at best

When comedy and pathos

Are profoundly insightful

Into characters

And social nuances

That afford such a constant awareness

Shedding light on the inner life of these same characters.

This honorable failure of the intellectual, over-civilized, self-conscious, and repressed aesthic view of life brings forth such an opportunity for pathos.

My individual sympathies forever fluctuate,

Speculate.

My skeptical attainment is limited,

At best.
