redefine: intangible.

by Aaron Michael

i can see the ageless verses
typed and framed and
cannot speak them
for fear of setting them on fire

ashes can only say so much
and only to those that
REALLY listen

i am the lifeboat to your
lusitania and i flounder
in the wake of words
that lose meaning as soon as spoken
the point is there is no point
and there is no paradox such as this
anywhere

i have to believe that
there is reality somewhere
but its all lost
when someone thinks about it
i have to believe
or this is all for nothing
just as it was to begin with.

smoke in a bubble
pop

Nicely done! Reality is in the mind of the beholder. The variety of what we see/experience is really amazing. It might me more workable if we all had the same vision but how boring.

A good step into the surreal told with an eye still looking back at the last time everything felt as it should. Great work.

There definitely is power in the spoken word, thoughts made manifest. And next, action packs the biggest punch of all (sometimes, even LACK of action, which is thought that SHOULD turn into something, but ends up turning into nothing. Now THAT'S huge!!!).
