What does this love bring,

What will make my heart sing?

I know it is not real

No matter how I feel.

I want so much more,

Yet it ends up a chore.

I am in love with the notion,

Though my love's as wide as an ocean.

So I try again, what do I gain?

A softened heart, much more pain.

At this game I both win and lose,

This is the love that I choose.
