Still Got It

by Joe Cramer

I've still got it, the touch, the gift

Of gab, the penned word.

Or perhaps you haven't heard

That though my mind is oft in a tiff,

I can still pen a thought, a phrase.

(At least most of these days!)

So take a peak into Amor,

Don't forget to look in Angst.

I remain pathetically poetic with a Sonnet

A Limerick or twain, my Inspirations.

Of course, within my Library

Where these Musings are in my domain

(You might want to stay out of Members Only!?!)

So many thoughts from Long Ago.

(Just ask Emily, she knows the score!)

I've still got it,

I'm still able to coin a phrase.

One constant thread that

Remains to the end of my days.

Author's Note: .... I'm a huge multi-tasker, I was listening to Fergie's "Clumsy," answering the phone, penning this poem while thinking of the different categories I have here on Pathetic.....

Yeah, I think about that, too. Heh. Especially late at night. Nice work.
