Somewhere, Over There

by Joe Cramer

Somewhere, over there

That rainbow exists,

Dwells in my heart of hearts.

She's waiting for me,

Big smile on her face

(That my angst can't erase!)

I sit quietly,

Never free

Always a prisoner of love

That will never be.

Somehow, somewhere over there

I'm happy, at my end

Of the rainbow

All by myself.

It's nice here my dear

Waiting for you,

Watching for you

Awaiting your call, y'all

Come back now, hear?

Yeah, here.
