Your Note by Alison McKenzieYou slipped your note under
A crack in the wall
And a lovely song rushed through
As I opened it,
Absorbed the words,
Grateful,
Better delivery than any bucket,
And the nourishment sank in.
04/29/2008 Author's Note: It's amazing how innocent words of endearment can brighten any cloudy sky! Thank you.
