I spend my days looking for something to do

Wheels spinning round, exercises in futility.

Days like these become far too few

As I live my life in quiet civility.

There is so much more I want to accomplish

In all of these times leaving me forlorn.

If I could have my way, I would wish

For my quiet civility to end, to be gone.
