I think I'm a poet. by Ryan NardiEverything I've ever written has been poetry.
What is this poetry stuff?
Pretty words?
I've heard about some ninety percent of 'em.
Resolutions?
Twice than half of everyone rented 'em.
Line breaks?
Does it have to rhyme with a rhythm?
Does it need brevity?
What about Milton?
Is it alright for me to rhyme rhythm and Milton?
Was it written before?
And if it probably was,
then what in the world am I writing it for?
I'm not sure why,
but I think
I'm a poet.
