I think I'm a poet.
by Ryan Nardi
Everything I've ever written has been poetry.
What is this poetry stuff?
I've heard about some ninety percent of 'em.
Twice than half of everyone rented 'em.
Does it have to rhyme with a rhythm?
Does it need brevity?
What about Milton?
Is it alright for me to rhyme rhythm and Milton?
Was it written before?
And if it probably was,
then what in the world am I writing it for?
I'm not sure why,
but I think
I'm a poet.

This made me smile. Its so innocent and sweet in its question that is really so very deep... Yes. My dear, from this and all the rest you have shared with us... you are profound. You are a poet. ~N
