And Then Again by Anastasia Selby
What is love, with you?
What is in love,
what is recieving
or giving?
Where is your heart?
Not the one whereas inside your chest but
the one all the poets
speak about?
I see it in front of me
hanging from a rope
I'm holding
and yet you still
are able to lie to me.
You cry and apologize
but that has happened before.
And at the forefront
are all the things that have happened
before
along with the things that happened
last night
and this morning.
I look at you and I see a child.
This has to end.
