There was so much of your life

That I wanted to be a part of,

And of course, I blew it.

I had it made, and instead

Went straight into my self-destruct mode,

Instead of self preservation.

I think of you always

Missing you even more.

I see you in my dreams,

They haunt me, and calm me

All the same to me.

I wanted to be an integral part of your life

Instead I am alone again, and lonely.

There was such promise.

I blew it, I knew it.
