Little One

by Keith D Allison

Little One
By RagTack

Without you
the night stand in icy silence
void of past and present
love and hate
an empty passion fall
upon a distant shore
a heavy heart listen
to the unstrung harps
the songs of memories
pass in to noiseless sea

...we only miss it when it's gone, reading one line like a book, i followed and tho' it's all about the meS, the meS only matter because of the youS...and an empty nightstand is as blank as blank can be...heavy loss, could be daughter, mom, wife[ex], anybody that makes us matter...charlie

Hi Keith. Your "unstrung harps" are a great saddness, what use then the voiceless harp unstrung, what use the heart unsung. Moving Keith, very moving. Thanks.
