NO- honey

by Keith D Allison

Some times in the depth of night
you hear the serpent call
It's warm chant’s surround your being
as it dances on the fire light, like a the summer breezes
the night air is lace with just a hint of lilac
beckon to you

Ever so softly you hear the serpent whisper, your name
a gentle vision passes in your eyes
of wind blow hair and a lovely smile
a warmness fill your being

you feel the warm of breath upon your ear
the whisper
Come, be mind
Take my hand, let us dance together
let us listen to the heart song
Tasting the wine of life
Come let us fill one another needs

In the darkness did you hear the screams
as icy winds blow

And when you awoke
did you wipe the tears
The SERPENT
Was  it her
and now you wonder
Was it me
