Jesus is Buddha

by Charlie Morgan

now run off, be of another tribe;
leave the blue hill, tennessee mist
rolling it's bowling ball of damp
across the shoulders of others.

let it too, add weight to breaths
as you bite the pain from the air
belonging to the past day's walks
and collections of aimless sins.

a golem grin shows me the soul's hole;
an entrance into possibilities, hopes
for tomrrow's netting of calm comfort
that itself fills the hole in my soul.

i think Jesus would be a good Buddhist
as they both sought right and careing.

a bit more whimsical and magical in tone than what other of your poems i've read. it works wonderfully for you. i saw the title on the recetly posted list a few days ago and finally had to hunt it down in your labyrinthian library :) Great read.
