If You Please

by Megan Guimbellot

I cant help but think
When I'm alone
And its late
And all the stars are out and the moon is full and the night is young

I cant help but think of the way you feel inside me
Of the rush of your skin
On my skin
And the feel of your hands tracing outlines along my body

And late at night
When everyone else is asleep, I remember the way you whispered to me
That I was the only one and your lips bruised mine. I can still recall the way you felt that night, and I know now the feeling of being apart. I know how it feels, to be so completely in love, and so miserably far apart
Separated by the miles and the ocean
By the distance and highways//but I wish for you//when the night falls
You are in my dreams and next to me.

if only he knew...he'd never leave.

I really love your poems. On an unrelated note, I believe you mistakenly set this to be "explicit."
