I give my heart and love too freely

And lose it, forever in the process.

I want it all, the tenderness, the romance

And a little love to carry me

Through the sum of my days.

Not too much to ask for

Yet so difficult to achieve.

The hope is all I have

With you, though the times are few

And far apart when we are together.

So I remain waiting for the time

When you will indeed be mine.

The love in my heart

Encompasses all that I am.

I don't have a plan, or idea

Of what I am supposed to do

About this love that I have.

That I want to have, to hold

For all of time.

When can I make you mine?
