Blumbering of a Drunk by Christopher ShinI hate the world,
but envy the trivial.
The fact is that
you have what I can't.
And I have what you think
is so dark and alluring.
But don't you see I would trade
everything for the joy you have.
All I have is the darkest moments,
and you have all the light.
Sadly but tragically I am
stricken with my tragedy.
Please let me have what you have,
and let the darkness fade away. 04/09/2008 Posted on 04/09/2008 Copyright © 2025 Christopher Shin
