life's a game

by Charlie Morgan

waiting. a game; nutshell
that needs cracking.

Tibet's freedom; pain.
softness, celebration
struck, given lashes.

the price of freedom
a costly existence;
thin air, no haven.

spinning wheels turn
praying for the enemy
of existence, pleasure.

a Mayan calendar on order
just giving 5 more years
of containment, misery.
