One ticket to Liberation, please by Alison McKenzieThe lust of this anger -
Sometimes I am consumed
And the rage cannot be contained
By flood or vacuum.
It is an expensive indulgence;
Once spent,
Karmic overdraft guaranteed.
But for grace,
I should be held accountable
And be damned!
But for the Holy names upon my lips,
I am filled with ignorance
And should not escape.
Liberation is my destination,
And devotion is the journey.
My attachments in this life
Lose their grip as I bow,
Sweet mercy
At the Lotus Feet of my Lord.

Indeed, me too. |
