so it wasn't really a phone call
it was a text message

the preferred communication for cowards
or more appropriately for me

i am afraid to talk to you on the phone
afraid of what i may say
or what i may hear...

a text that was totally innocent
completely benign
with a response that left me feeling

ok...

ok at best.
which is better then not
ok
i suppose
