are you breathing delphi?

by Ryan Nardi

wizards prefer to drink wine
sweet from a rotten fruit
blackened by ice

Muscat the long-living Sage
knows the highway leads
to the desert

in grottoes of iron boulder
in the dictions of the livery
queriers pray for the calming saints

qualms in the dark are whispers
the chess board of acres unflaps
heroes and makers dodge traps

shed a pound of hip-bone
and tromp the floating
fish into the sand

Some pretty interesting imagery, man. I like how well you bring it all together.

...ryan, are you breathin' delphi?, seems that many of us do, in order to not kill the next s.o.b. next to us, eh?...contradictions are our daily fare...calms and qualms...charlie
