Hot Case by Quinlan L GibsonIn the world of higher education,
of English; it came from the department
Chairman; a distinguished, accomplished,
handsome man,
(and I looked for a ring, just curious)
and listening intently to him
he persisted to investigate and explore every
inch of my case.
I was rather turned-on for that hour.
Seduced with knowledge, by a man of
mind power; he sorted me out,
pieced me back together
I went to leave; now on the right path.
He looked over his broad shoulder and said,
"You are unique, but common"
To which I replied with a smile,
and thought to myself,
"Sir, you have no idea."

| Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 04/05/08 at 03:38 AM Nice last line there. I love how much this plays out like a great scene in an even better movie. Nice work. |

I want to encourage you, but instead I read all of your old ones. You are so talented. Consistently talented. And this one is further proof. "Sir, you have no idea." A great finish. Honest. And funny, too. All the best. - Bill |
