God is dead? by Charlie Morgan"God is dead" a chant from idiots
who never read ol' freddy;
never knew it was nietsche.
but they knew the kite by holding the tail.
they didn't know Friedrich Wilhelm Nietcsche;
they didn't know he said "...you killed him."
but counterculures grow outside labs
and are flourished by freedoms of man
carried like carol burnett's curtain-rod dress.
as the play opens man sneers, grumbles.
and it's the first of many scenes to come;
in this opening scene it's a sneer of fear;
a cloud of mystery defying man and gravity.
"ahh, to be loved!" man laments as he's alone.
it is the fault of my selfish gene, he rests. 04/04/2008 Posted on 04/04/2008 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan
