HALF

by W. Mahlon Purdin

If you take half of what you want
You will still have at least
Twice of what you need.

If you say half of what you think
You will still say at least
Twice as much as you should have.

If you give twice as much as you want to
You will still have only
Given half of what you could have.

When you imagine your capacity for change
You will still have only imagined
Half of what is possible.

And when I wrote this poem I knew
That I was still only writing
Half of what I wanted to.

...i'm still chewing on TREES and will speak to that in a sec...i really do love the "consideration" of half-ness [we exist in quantamville] and half of half of half of half...you still got something, eh? half of whatever but still, and the tie-up line is kicking...peace, charlie
