oh vast structure of recollection

by Kathleen Wilson

what comes to me
between the sip
and the morsel
in the suspension

time tastes
like a lemon cookie
opens its scallop shell
in another dimension

drops crumbling
onto a lacey napkin
tomorrow
as I bite

into yesterday's intention

Yum....it's so good to juxtapose the taste of anticipating the future and savoring the past. Adding directly to my faves! MFS

...kathabela, this is top-shelf, i see you spinning this one while you twirl, twirled me in this vastness of statement, tie-ed it up nicely with just the write/right words...charlie
