Far Before Sense by Jeffrey ParrenLulled to sleep
in life's sullen lullaby
I gasp for dreams
deemed unreasonable.
Logically so
as rationalizations
tantalize and remove
all hope
sweaty wakenings
reminder's nightmares
sunny days cloak
simple desires.
Weather's withering
juxtaposed exposes
background to
foregone conclusions.
The world's unfair
good people perish
far before sense
that's why we're without. 03/29/2008 Posted on 03/29/2008 Copyright © 2025 Jeffrey Parren

Posted by Alisa Js on 04/01/08 at 07:11 AM I think whenever we start to rationalize anything, therein lies the danger of the dulling down. Thank you for stopping by and for your comments. I will return soon. aloha..;-) |
