im not a writer

i didnt go to college for this
i just picked up a pen
and wrote what i felt
i dont know about punctuation
i never got it
i cant spell the big words
but i know what they are
i dont know what a syntax is
dont care about synonyms antonyms and nouns
i never could pick them out in a sentence
i hate run ons
they tell me that its a way of saying your talking too much
just stop
take a breath
all i know is that sometimes i need therapy
i just need to release
its a form of expression
you know
to write
to let people know how i feel
after ive thought it through
i write to liberate my soul
i know that ill never win a pulitzer
theres no decadence to my writing
i hope not to be recognized
just understood
this is why i write
but im not a writer
