[Library] Spoken From Experience by Nikki RiceSome might say
that I'm a mystic
in this (your) district
of the world...
Smoke unfurled,
just as your plans
to stroke her hands;
I saw it all
before it began.
It seems you think
you're just so clever
with your endeavor,
but I'm aware...
With her skin so fair,
her body's hips
will grace your lips;
I heard it all
through your snake hiss.
It's sad to know
she'll be your mess,
undo her dress
in the name of fate...
Your letching can't wait,
and so you will rush
to steal her blush;
I felt it all
in your cold touch.
Then your words, like art,
will soften her heart,
as all around her falls apart...

| Posted by George Hoerner on 03/25/08 at 01:18 AM Men can be like that Laurie. I've not known a lot of faithful men, myself included. No excuses. I love women and as I told my first wife "if I have an affair it will probably be with someone we both know". I've never "picked" up a woman in a bar. But I've been very fortunate in meeting some really lovely women over the years. Nice write. |
