convex (with Anita Mac Auslan) by Morgan D HafeleI swear to god this town will kill me.
If I could just
get my head clear enough to focus
on something other than Home,
I think I'd be all set.
But, it's the unspoken
that really puts me off.
It's the way I believe everything
I see in your eyes.
The way that I pretend cloudy days
quench your lies and bring us closer to the truth.
But, I guess it’s just me
looking too deep in shallow reflections. 03/13/2008 Author's Note: i'm posting this a little late because, well, that's what i do, i do late. anita had a challenge, but i don't, except maybe to a bare knuckle brawl underneath the flag pole at high noon
