Poet's Kiss

by Maria Massarella

Avid you came
Hot
Humid
Spell of Scirocco

Thrilled me passionate
Pressing your
Saharanness
On my sensitivities

Rising temperatures
Exposed me to
Heavy rain and thunder
On another naked Monday

without you

Made me feel the prick of tears behind my eyes... I can so identify with this. Sometimes Love is filled with other than joy, there is such an ache that it touches the soul. You my friend are so gifted, your words can touch the soul.... beautifly!
