forever that you might find by Kathleen Wilson1
scattered emeralds set
bracelet of shore
gold necklace of hills
I see myself your old moss
your miniature mirrors my sea, my sky
off Oregon Coast
2
house full
of openness desire set free
understated the birds
so busy with appetite
I am full of watching you
in Canyon de Chelly
3
congregation
of the outdoors
happens to pass by a church
white birds such passionate communicants
horse and tree are icons of a natural world
in Corona California
4
I haunt you forever with my illusive beauty
and because I am not here
by power of what you cannot forget
you recreate me forever that you might find
yourself in my image

Posted by David Garner on 03/17/08 at 05:02 PM I love the form of this. especially the last line of each numbered stanza. location. location. location. love the slight difference of the last stanza. "your Girl in Rampana Costume"--love it! |
