Home

and likely, you never will.

by Maria Francesca

yeah, I know,

we've been here before
and you think you've seen
every inch of me
uncovered.

there have been blouses
and panties
strewn
from foyer to kitchen
to bed

socks hanging from lampshades
and modesty never entered the picture

and the thing is
after all you've glimpsed of me
and after all the shameless things we've dared

there remains this one fact
despite all evidence to the contrary:

you've never
seen me
naked.

Captivating...and yes, it's often likely and even 'normal' to share so much of ourselves with another, while really, at the end of the day, not sharing much at all...loved this read!
