For everything else!

by Johnny Crimson

Cover my face
and twist away

The straight smiley boys
are now
calling it quits

I reached
in my pocket
all drenched in worms

Walking backwards
toward a bed
And without warning
I reached a door

Behind my back
I hear whispers
and the unraveling
of garments

The flicker of tongues
and the jamming
of fingers

Her friend had just taught me
3 new chords

Trying to flirt
I guess
I'm bad at that

They both shrugged
and I said
goodbye

New strings: 5 bucks
Bus to her house: $1.38
Realizing the girl that
you've wanted for 10 years is gay

Priceless

This is very good poetry, tells a story that is effective and gives us the dark side and the light side in a wrap, a delicious combo. "I reached in my pocket all drenched in worms" is inspired imagery.
