Empty

by Genevieve Sturrock

i logged in
looking for answers
hoping to find something

anything

but there is nothing
it's all gone
every ounce of
inspiration
has slipped
through my mind

and i am left
staring at
this empty screen
looking
hoping
empty

As with anything else -- it gets better if you write about it, eh? :) This is the right way to attack the problem, just don't stop!

I think there is not one of us on here that can't relate to this...nice that you managed to get a poem out of an 'empty' moment....happy writing/reading, peace, jewels

Writer's Block....I curse thee. I can't write either. At least you are not alone.....
