| Posted by Julie Adams on 03/11/08 at 05:50 PM I thoroughly enjoyed this new piece of yours, like stream it describes, the poem trickles down the page...I love the world you describe within, all the picnic baskets, PB&Js, sailboats, and pebbles...I love the word play between the first two stanzas and the second two, especially how the words are re-offered to the reader...it feels as though the poem acts like a growing stream, I can see the water spliting between stanzas as it would around a pebble, trickling 2 new paths to the the same pool at the end (wow, I went on a little tangent there, I hope you get what I mean)...anyway, I loved it...a pleasure to read, happy writings, peace, jewels |
