Discovery by Jeffrey ParrenAs the years progress
I notice how I discover less
though this discovery
did not conflict itself.
When young and new
exploration of big and small
led to findings and experiences
evolving me into myself.
But as I age and time narrows
the focus is specific and rigid
almost limiting the maturity
and learning already achieved.
So if getting caught up in life
confines blinders to eyes
what is the purpose of
developing any discovery? 03/07/2008 Author's Note: Not sure if this is finished, or if the question is where it needs to end...or if the question is worded correctly...

Posted by George Hoerner on 03/07/08 at 04:04 PM Good question! I think "getting caught up in life" is a two edged sword. There can be a definit swing between being an observer and a participant. I'm not sure our minds can do both at the same time. Nice write. |
