.Black and White.

by Trisha De Gracia

I could tear apart the pages,
scratched away in red
scan.
paste.
post.
designate for their eyes only
watch the comments percolate
a paper chain below inflicted language
(forced-on words for things they never warn you
come to rest in chests of scar and summer)
and you'd never find it
here amidst the hundreds put to public
in amongst 5 Years of damned regret
and daring, docile joy.

But you don't deserve my ink this time
and I don't mind
you knowing.

Author's Note: How many words can I fill up a book with for you? How many red little phrases will stop this insane little game we've got going?

Wow, two within one, and it works quite effectively as well. I also like how you used the web-site itself (assuming I took things the right way) as a back-drop to the poem and what's conveyed within it, and from it. The part I especially liked was "designate for their eyes only, watch the comments percolate, a paper chain below inflicted language,". Very true... Superb piece all a round.
