Bending to Bleed (desperation)

by Olivia Weinkein

bending to bleed and if she could breathe she'd tell you
this was all a waste of time and she says she's lonely
to keep you from leaving turns her body toward you to
emphasize her point but the walls around here are always
shattering and you can't help but run into them as she
cries softly fingers crossed begging for forgiveness but
this wasn't her crime even though she's still guilty and
it isn't about love although she keeps you second guessing
and it was never about the sky even though

it's still falling.

This has to be one of the best titles I've ever seen. And yeah, the poem matches up to it nicely.
