floating like a bubble

by Charlie Morgan

Floating Like A Bubble

Like a bubble on a windy day
my thoughts drift to you …
and I flutter away

and

showing to all my inner me
that is draped with you …
like a sarong made of leaves

and

it takes the chill away
like mountain sunshine …
it devours the cold, lonely days

and

the distant sound my ears record
is nature calling your name …
as it does so in a heavenly chord

and

I’m reassured in my loving union
with you as my life-guide …
and our perpetual communion.
